Massachusetts (Boston): Mariners House

Note: You must contact each facility directly with any inquiries. The USCGA Guest Housing staff is only able to assist patrons with questions regarding Munro Hall, the Academy, and the New London area.

The Mariners House is located in the famous North End of Boston, MA.

It provides accommodations for active and retired Seafarers from around the world.

Seafarers have found hospitality and guidance at the door of Mariners House for 165 years. In 1998, a complete renovation of the House was undertaken, and Mariners House re-opened in April of 1999. Great care was taken throughout the renovation process to preserve the historic charm of Mariners House while adding all the essential amenities expected of a modern, comfortable inn.  The inn hosts private air-conditioned rooms with private baths, in-room telephones, TV-VCRs, and WiFi, a comfortable library with a public computer with internet access, a community parlor, a garden courtyard, complimentary breakfast, with lunch and dinner available in a cafeteria, and a conference room.
